The Winter 2003 update of the GoGoD Encyclopaedia CD is now available.
There are now 26,200 professional games in the authoritative database.
Specially featured this time are the games of Takagawa (over 1100) and
Meiji games. In the tournament section, over 200 events are now covered
in detail.
Among the new long features are a biography of Takagawa, a survey of
rules incidents, a look at the various insei systems, ladder lore and
much more.
Also new is PBase - the start of our collection of problems from 22
classical collections.
This is in addition to the usual fund of programs, 300-page Names
Dictionary and other glossaries, photos, poems, stories, proverbs, etc.
etc. Ships with Kombilo and screensaver. There is about 70MB of such
data. The games database is over 50MB.
The GoGoD partnership is T. Mark Hall and John Fairbairn but supported
